Happy Black Friday! Now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is in full swing (and people can’t complain about it being too early anymore ;) Christmas time is my absolute favorite time of year and I am soaking up every minute of it. Today I wanted to talk about some basics you need in your wardrobe to get you through this season.
This is basically a given. Winter time is the perfect time of year to stock up on any and all sweaters to keep you warm and cozy. I have a slight addiction to sweaters and I never feel like I have enough!
Just like sweaters, cardigans are a must! They are perfect for layering, but you can take them off if you get too warm.
I used to absolutely hate turtlenecks. I seriously thought they were the ugliest things ever created. The past few years this has changed for me though. I can’t get enough of them! Turtlenecks should definitely be a staple in your Winter wardrobe!
Anyone else always have freezing ears? My ears always get SO COLD and they start to ache because they are freezing haha! Beanies always do the trick for me. They are so cute, and my poor ears don’t have to be exposed to the freezing cold. It’s a win-win!
It is crazy how much you can change your outfit just by adding a scarf. Chunky scarves are my favorite!
After I started writing this post, I realized I no longer have a leather jacket. I always used to wear my sisters, but not that she moved out I don’t have one of my own :( SO I am currently on the hunt for a cute leather jacket.. and I would love any opinions or recommendations!
Booties are another obsession of mine. They are so versatile and you can literally wear them all year long. I love wearing my fuzzy socks underneath to keep my feet warm, and no one ever knows ;)
Over the Knee Boots
OTK boots are everywhere… seriously everywhere! But I can definitely see why! I feel like I am walking on a runway any time I wear a pair of mine. If you don’t have a pair already, I HIGHLY recommend you getting some!
These are just a few of the basic items that I have for Winter. I don’t think I could get through Winter without them! What are your must haves for this season? I’d love to chat in the comments below!
